For the November Flooding:
For those who suffered damage and made a report for the November flooding event (11/ 2 – 11/11), a Presidential Disaster declaration HAS been made for the State, and home and business owners in King County with uninsured losses should register with FEMA to see if they quality for assistance.To register, call FEMA at 1-800-621-3362 or on-line at www.fema.gov.
For the December 14th Rain and Wind Storm:
For those who have suffered damage to your home or businesses, the Seattle Office of Emergency Management strongly urges you to make a report to the King County Citizen Damage Report Hotline at 1-800-523-5044. The collective damage reports received will be used in a request for federal disaster assistance. If a Presidential Disaster Declaration is made for the State and the County, private citizens may be eligible for financial help for uninsured losses in the form of small grants from Federal Emergency Management Agency and loans from the United States Small Business Administration.
